The USS Weiss (APD 135) Reunion
will be held in Nashville, TN
Sepember 13th to 17th.

The Reunion welcoming buffet will be on Wednesday September 13th

A sit-down banquet will be Saturday evening September 16th.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Tennessee World War II Memorial on the Bicentennial Capitol Mall in Nashville, which was dedicated on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 1997. Many of the polished granite surfaces are engraved with authentic photo-images taken from U.S. Navy Archives.

The tours for Nashville have been set:

Attendees will be visiting "The Hermitage", home of president Andrew Jackson. The tour guides are in period costume as we visit Jackson's tomb, Heritage church, slave cabins, and more.

There will be a tour the historic Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. And lunch at Mrs. Bobo's Boarding House.

A guided sightseeing tour of Nashville plus a tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Also scheduled is a tour of the New Tennessee Walking Horse Museum and the First Center of the Arts.
